Life of Test (Acapella)

Salam to all,

First of all I would like to apologize for not being able to write anything here for quite a long time. Secondly let me wish you all a very wonderful Eid Mubarak for those who are celebrating it. I know its a bit late but in some places, Eid is being celebrated for a month, just to be fair because we fasted the same amount of time. Nowadays, people didn't have the time or forget to visit families, friends and relatives, which makes it more relevant to spend a month to get to do all those trips. More importantly, Eid is a point where we feel loved, and cared for. Not only by humans, but by Allah, the creator Himself. He promised to forgive all our previous sins, and remove us from being one of the inhabitants of Hell fire. So that's what we call a true success!

I actually recorded this song a couple of years ago but didn't have the time to edit a video for it. I got the chance to perform with Maher Zain in the 'Sounds of Light' concert here in Australia. It should be included in the English version of my album insyaAllah.  A song so straight forward, some people might feel uncomfortable listening to it. As people use music to relax, this song gives you the opposite effect which is to work and work because ultimately we are just a servant of our beloved creator. He gives us test after test just to reward us at the end of the day. The more difficult the test is, the higher ranks would be rewarded as a result. We just need to accept (redha) that we are being tested and have patience(sabr) afterwards. Allah's promise is never a lie.

May Allah accept all our efforts and  may we be amongst the righteous people of paradise, insyaAllah. Aameen.

Latest music video (3rd batch)

Salam to all..I don't know how many people will ever going to read this but I just try my luck and go on writing. Hopefully one day, someone would gain the benefit from it, InsyaAllah. This video entitled 'Serahkan segalanya' was shot in an exotic island in Malaysia, Langkawi. It has a beautiful sandy beach and a peaceful environment with a proper management all together to make it a destination people go for. Enough said, so the location was perfect for a family gateway. I include the footages from the promotion my recording label made for me in the newspapers and radio stations in the chorus part to show the new comers of what to expect when entering this scene. So it shows the real situation with real people who is working their best and put their hopes only to Allah. No other than Him can sure anything worked after someone has worked for it but Allah promise to grant people who work hard a reward whether it is here in this world or later in the hereafter. The concept of tawakkal is very simple, we work to please Allah for as long as He let us to live and that's it. Anyway, the world is only to be cherished within less than 100 years, so why we do not focus more on the next life which is forever and ever. Wallahu a'lam... https://youtu.be/KTEjcMUgLas The second video that I want to share entitled 'Sebuah persinggahan' was shot in many cities in the UK. As a guest artist from Malaysia for the annual event in Sheffield; Nasyeed Extravaganza (NEXT) and who was fortunate enough to get the chance to join the tour of a very famous scholar in Malaysia for the student event in Cardiff (where I used to be for 4 years), moved on to Nottingham and London. The talk and salawat was lead by Ustaz Don Daniyal Don Biyajid who I managed to get with all his crew members of the program '30 minutes Ustaz Don' in TV AlHijrah to be in the video. We were walking; sightseeing and shopping in London while this video was taken. I would like to thank him and all the crew members for their cooperation and support. May Allah bless you and your family. Last but not least, please don't forget to share with your friends. https://youtu.be/Z8TYtUIcaK8

Munsyid Malaysia - the second project continues..

Salam to all...Allahumma Solli A'la Sayyidina Muhammad, wa A'la Aali Sayyidina Muhammad I may had missed the boat of writing this right on time, but its always better late than never. I got the second chance to sing along with 'Munsyid Malaysia' in this clip. It was done very quickly from the recording and shooting, all in one day. I hope the tradition of making a contribution towards imploring people to make more salawat to the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) will remain the priority in this dakwah. We will not enter heaven until we articulate the testimony of faith in mouth and action. Let us pray to be one of the selected servant of Allah who will be rewarded with delightfulness of the afterlife, not the way other.

Latest music video (2nd batch)

Salam to all..I would like to promote my very first composition, fully from the melody selection, lyrics writing, music progression and backing vocals arrangement. To be honest, all of the songs in my album were backed up using my own voice. That way, we can save a lot of cost in terms of money for paying if using other vocalist and time in terms of teaching them the melody. It would be nice if I have more money and time to do that as a training for the new artist as well as bonding with them to share experience and hope for they may use as guideline in this very unpredictable industry. We really need people with extra level of comprehension of how the world works apart from the capability to handle stress and manipulation by others and the ability to control perception. These are the keys to success depending on how bad you want to succeed. Anyways, this video was shot in many locations in Sydney, Australia. The venues which took place were the Sydney Opera, the International Airport, the city centre, the Darling Harbour, the Blue Mountain and the Chinese garden which is similar to the one with its sister city Guangzhou, China. The person in charge of the camera handling was Safwan, the founder of the channel Addeen Activated in youtube. I learnt a lot from him and we exchanged ideas in the making of this clip. This is a story of an ordinary person living an ordinary life who have done some mistakes in his past and along the way of his life but very worried about his place in the after life, whether its going to be a good or the bad. It is a sin to think bad about Allah not ever going to forgive you but not necessarily be over confident with the little effort we do compared with the people of the early era in Islam. We always felt this way and I just want to spark the feeling of it and make us think...always...Please enjoy : 'Di Sana Nanti' https://youtu.be/wfWkKA881Fg The second music video I would like to highlight here is the one I shot in Bangalore, India. It was my first visit to India and it is a very big county with a lot of people. They have many scenic view that I became indecisive at first for where's the best location to shoot. Outdoors shooting can be quite challenging because of the uncertainty of the weather. So timing is the best bet to get beautiful scenery with enough sunlight. Alhamdulillah I met this very handsome to be Doctor Salikin who was willingly helpful in the making of this clip. Hope you guys enjoy the clips and don't forget to share them with your friends. https://youtu.be/_0n9yoAGQ-8

Arteffects International-album preview

Promotion for friends. Have you ever came across these albums? if you're looking for a way to keep your babies calm and makes your driving better, then this is the must have album! I remembered a commercial advertisement for a movie, 'a must see movie before you die'...(which is not true at all)...i can assure you that by remembering Allah is the only thing we will be glad we did while still breathing in this world...

Zikr - the way to a calmer heart and mind

I have signed up with this recording label named Arteffects International. From the name I presume many would understand that the goal is not only local content and local market. I want to share some of the zikr from the very album of the founder and director of Arteffects International, Hafiz Hamidun. It would be great if you can share them with others as well. Think of it as a viral good deed for yourselves, as whoever listened to it will automatically done a zikr to remember the greatness of Allah.

Solat Dhuha - a perfect gateway to financial freedom!

Many people would think that they can be happy with money. This would totally differ to the understanding of the companions of the prophets whom really depends on Allah's will for their livelihood. For example, the famous Abdullah ibn Maso'd who is not very rich and when the Khalifah wants to give him his portion from the Baitul Mal, he replied that "i don't need money to where i'm going", even when the Kalifah said, give them to your daughters then..he replied "they do not need it because they have surah Al-Waqiah, which the prophet pbuh said whoever read surah Al-Waqiah, they will not be afraid of poverty. There are real cases in modern time where someone who reads the Surah Al-Waqiah are living a wealthy life just because they read it everyday until it stays in their heads and they really understand what the Surah are saying and done it. Another mysterious way of Allah showing His love towards His obedient servants is the Solat Ad-Dhuha. The prophet pbuh said: Whoever gets up when the sun is before his eyes, performs a thorough ablotion then stands and prays two rakaats (Solat Ad-Dhuha) his sins are forgiven as his mother gave birth to him. Narrated by Abu Ya'la. This is the Duá after the Solat Ad-Dhuha which made me memorized it without even realizing. May Allah bless this nasyeed group and give them all the goodness in this world and the hereafter.

Salam to all.... it's been a long while since I last posted an entry here...just want to share with you the video clips which featured izzat mahadi in the making. The Video "himpun" is an effort for us to show the world that we care. If the Aqeedah of the ummah is at stake, we will not keep quiet.

Iftar-have our share

Ramadhan Kareem to all my brothers and sisters,

May this Ramadhan be the most beneficial for us for we never know if we can meet Ramadhan again next year. I would like to share some hadith with you regarding giving charity. Let's share some of our blessings with fellow Muslim for they will be our investment in the hereafter to save us from trouble, and believe me...there will be a LOT of trouble!

Bukhari :: Book 1 :: Volume 2 :: Hadith 11
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr:

A man asked the Prophet , "What sort of deeds or (what qualities of) Islam are good?" The Prophet replied, 'To feed (the poor) and greet those whom you know and those whom you do not Know.

Bukhari :: Book 2 :: Volume 24 :: Hadith 524
Narrated Abu Burda:

from his father from his grandfather that the Prophet said, "Every Muslim has to give in charity." The people asked, "O Allah's Prophet! If someone has nothing to give, what will he do?" He said, "He should work with his hands and benefit himself and also give in charity (from what he earns)." The people further asked, "If he cannot find even that?" He replied, "He should help the needy who appeal for help." Then the people asked, "If he cannot do that?" He replied, "Then he should perform good deeds and keep away from evil deeds and this will be regarded as charitable deeds."
